Studying never seems to give me a break, and spring is flying by too fast. I have been afraid that I would miss the blossoms altogether. Tabitha, too, bless her heart; she's been giving her time, might and soul into teaching those cute little first-graders despite their screamings, chokings, and discharges of unpleasant bodily fluids.
I think we often make a crucial mistake here; well I do, at least. To chase the clock in its revolutions is to go nowhere indeed. Why wish for spring? Winter teaches patience. Why want Summer, when Spring's symbols invite a lifetime of thought? I say let time take its course; perhaps then the dedicated soul can relax enough to enjoy the simple moments, whatever they may be. Sometimes in always wishing for something more--like for spring to stay forever--we deny ourselves the privilege of enjoying what we already have.
